3 reasons you should binge watch Rana Naidu Season 2 now!
It is easily one of the best Indian shows on Netlfix.
A problem solver for the Bollywood people (in not exactly legal ways), Rana Naidu had a banger Season 1. So, I had high hopes for Season 2. As someone who loves fast storytelling, a bit of romance, a lot of kalesh, good villains and good action, I was definitely pleased with the latest installment of the show helmed by Rana Daggubati. (I am sure the staff had no problem addressing him in the show)
Arjun Rampal as Rauf - The Menacing Villain
I firmly believe a hero is as good as the villain he has to defeat.
And Rauf is the best kind there can be. He is unhinged, manipulative, ruthless, and straight out dripping cool vibes that will make you love to hate him.
Honestly, never thought I would see Arjun Rampal like this after Ra.One.
There is a particular scene where he fakes mourning for a person, intimidating the Naidu family and it’s just Chef’s Kiss.
Messy Family dynamics
The show takes the famous line, “…every unhappy family is unhappy in its own way” to another tangent.
They lie, cheat and fight like animals while taking care of each other. The weird family dynamics provide a breath of fresh air.
And you see the imperfections of the characters as they deal with their situations in the worst ways possible.
But it helps us.
Fast paced Storytelling
While we are addicted to scrolling while watching something on Television, it is one of the few shows where I actually put down my phone.
Just because it does not drag, and every scene adds to the story as a whole.
The show will keep you hooked throughout as you wonder what else can go wrong.
I have just finished the show and there are two things I am doing
Praying they renew it for Season 3 sooner than later.
Looking for another show just like this. (Might watch season 1 again)
To make sure you don’t miss out on another update from The Indian Story.
Till the next one,
